ABOUT BIB + ALMA
Bib + Alma is a jewellery studio with a focus on longevity, functionality and sustainability. We strive to create long lasting high quality pieces that reflect the modern wearer. With a limited product run, all pieces are bench-made to order in Boorloo Australia, reducing waste production while minimising cost and allowing the pieces to be adjusted to reflect the wearer.
Utilising traditional techniques to create modern forms, we believe that the things we create should reflect and respond to the world we live in and the community we belong to.
Bib + Alma focuses on sustainable and ethical materials, using lab-grown stones and recycled precious metals to try and mitigate the impact traditional jewellery practices have on the environment and our global community.
As a small queer run studio our designs are gender fluid and created intentionally to emphasise the wearers unique aesthetic and perspective.

At Bib + Alma our goal is to create pieces of jewellery that are made to a high standard, endure and promote the use of sustainable practises within the jewellery industry. This means that all pieces are handmade to order, maintaining low back stock and reducing material waste.
We also prioritise the use of recycled precious metals, sourced from industry waste production. Being precious metals, silver and gold products are not compromised through industrial use. This gives us the opportunity to extend their product life, while maintaining the integrity and value of your pieces. Bib + Alma aims to mitigate our dependency modern mining industries.
All stones are lab grown for high quality, affordability and to once again reduce harm.
We want to contribute to and promote the continued development of more sustainable jewellery practices, while celebrating its long held cultural significance. We strive to keep up with sustainable practices as they develop and grow over the years.

At Bib + Alma we create each piece to order. This means that there is a bit of room for flexibility, and the opportunity to customise your purchase to better reflect you. Each piece can be adjusted in size, finish and can be created with or without stones according to your needs and aesthetic.

Though precious metals will outlive generations of wear, enduring and being sturdy in nature, they can be prone to scratches and scuffs. This means they will inevitably take on a worn quality, reflecting the adventures and memories of their wearer. However, to maintain lustre as long as possible, a care card is provided with every purchase.
